The account overview screen is divided into three sections:
1. The first section displays the aggregate balances of all accounts within each account type. The account types are Savings, Checking, CD & Loans.
2. The second section displays a customer’s assets and liabilities balances.
a. Total assets: Sum of positive balances of all deposits i.e Savings, Checking,& CD’s If any checking account has negative balance its balance is deducted from total assets amount. If a user has only one checking account with negative balance it is displayed under total assets with negative sign.
b. Total Liabilities: Sum of current principal balances of all loans. If a loan is overpaid and has positive balance it is deducted from total liabilities amount. If a user has only one loan account with positive balance then it is displayed under total liabilities with negative sign.
3. The third section displays summary of individual accounts. All accounts belonging to savings, Checking and CD account types are grouped under deposit accounts summary. All accounts belonging to loan account type are grouped under loan accounts summary.
You can click on any account number under account number column in deposit account summary or loans account summary to view the detailed information of that account. The information displays in Activities/Details screen.
